Did some clean-up on the BG, cloned out some spots from the petals.
Not a very good wing position but this is another of those Swallowtails that rarely holds still so it's hard to get a clean shot of the wings.

Hey Ken,
Yep......crazy skittish and never stop......but the wing position isn't doing it for me here. I like the details in the black....perch and body pose.....not lovin' the wing position......fortunately....the way you are knockin these out.....pretty sure it's only a short matter of time!

I'm keeping a close watch on this chrysalis. (stupid caterpillar!)

If I can find a fresh one, I should be able to pose it wherever I want. :)

Agree this is not a very good wing position but I like the pose and legs. Nice flower and good job on BG.

I like everything about this - flower, background, sharpness, extended feeding tube, - except the wings (as noted above). I hope your chrysalis cooperates and you get a fresh specimen to work with.

I like seeing the body of the butterfly, which is seldom the focus of butterfly photos. I'm laughing at the location of the chrysalis.:D I'm amazed you saw it.
