Hi Judy, I love the robin portrait! I'm from Indiana and this was probably our most common bird other than the sparrows. I would probably sharpen the bird layer just a bit more and clone out that one little brown feature just above its head. I like the texture and canvas a lot. Well done!

Judy, Great job w/ the canvas texture and the edging. It's a bit tight on top and I do wish the tail were not behind the branch but I really like the look you have created here. Well done. I agree w/ Kerry regarding a round of sharpening on the head.

Thanks Kerry and everyone who commented. Sorry I took so long to get back to the forum to see the responses, it's been a busy week. I agree that the bird isn't too sharp but that was done on purpose for a softer "oil painting" look. It was not tack sharp to begin with though as I was about 40 ft away hand-holding the 100 - 400 but I didn't sharpen it as I would for a straight photo.
