It is so rewarding when an image that you have tried for happens. This is really interesting, I like the eye contact and of course the green background is perfect for him. The only suggestion I have is to play with the composition a bit and try to get the eye out of center.

Spectacular!!! As good as it gets with this species the bird really stands out nicely with that bg. Congrats!

Hey KD, I bet you are pleased with this - nailed in the air, or should I say, just nailed perfectly, and against such a smooth BG. As Grace stated, moving him down a little to the LRC will work. Congrats on a fine capture.

One of your best KD! The comp seems perfect to me. Love the BG, light, and pose.

Great light, sharpness and BG. Do you have one with the wings all the way up or down?

I dont have the one with wings down....but have one where they are up. But the focus was not spot on. I did some USM and salvaged it a bit. The bird had moved forward and hence that white OOF stuff in the BG.
