Took this last fall on one of Linda Robbins hummingbird trips to Ecuador. Just getting around to processing them. Comments are appreciated.

Dean:
Remarkably strong graphic impact with fine comp.
Great colors.
To my eye, a tad oversharpened as I am seeing jaggies along the edges, and I might reduce the contrast a smidge.
Only other thing that might be worth a look would be to try to even out the amount of vignette. Personal taste for sure.

Very strong photo. Well done.

Cheers

Dean - A lovely composition with some great color. If you follow Randy's suggestions and get the contrast down a bit this one will be a real winner. Nice!

Randy,
Once I viewed the image on another monitor I see your point about being over sharpened. Think I fixed it on the re-post below.

Either way it is an amazing image, with strong graphical qualities and sweet light!

Super comp and details against that beautiful complementary BG. Randy nailed my only suggestion and your repost deals with it well. Interesting to see a perched hummer as we usually see them hovering.

The curving twig, the colors and the companion wasp all contribute to a really exceptional impact photo. Beautifully executed, Dean.

Spectacular. Randy's suggestions really nailed it. Orig looked a bit overcooked. Loved the repost a lot. Terrific comp....a wallhanger for sure. One other suggestion is desaturating a tiny bit. The green on the perch looks a little oversaturated on my monitor.

Amazing comp and color! Like the way the bird is on the bottom of the frame. Very dynamic!
