Yes you have certainty nailed it - good shot, for me it is just a little tight in the frame, I lke the ratios perhaps just a little more space all round.

I think you nailed it too...the tight crop works for me but I am a tight crop kind of guy.

Another vote for nailing it! The colors of the bfly and the BG go great together.

I think you 99.9 nailed it...I think a slight shift of weight to the right and the back part of the stem would have been more in focus as well. Of course, that might have meant you lost the expression on his face so I think you made the right choice - would still loved to have seen that stem in the focal plane as well. Beautiful BG, Ovidiu and wonderful crispness to the entire butterfly. Very nice!

I can't believe I'm going to say this....but I may have wanted a little bit more room on bottom myself! It would have been interesting to see more of the stem in focus as Jules mentioned.....but this is still done very, very well! Outstanding BG and great light!

I really like the colors in this image--how the all work together, and they have a warm feel. Great capture.
