Clamming bears

From last weeks bear tour in Lake Clark N.P. AK

Here 2 subadults are out clamming at low tide. The ever present gulls are kind of a pain..

Lovely to be able to get so close and to have them so relaxed,

the mountains/forest in BKG really adds to the image giving it a sense of place..

You are reminding me to think wider on this Dale. Even dusted down the 100-400 and got Canon to calibrate for the end of next months trip.

Love the rh bear, great expression and light. The environment behind and the subtle reflections in the water, a very nice capture indeed sir.

Hi Robert,

I love the image. The bear are great with both having good views of their faces. The background provides a good view of their habitat. If you leave the gulls or move it as Alfred suggests, I would try and tone it down as it is appears a little hot on my monitor. Thanks for sharing.
