Very nicely composed, Bob! This image really has the feel of morning light. I was wondering
whether the shoreline "connected" in a curve outside the frame on the right, and how it
might look if that were included. Sort of like this:

The only part that gave me pause was the cyan cast in the foreground water. I tried
adjusting just that area while leaving the rest as posted.

Hey Bob,
I like how you took a different approach to an oft photographed scene....yes most include the shoreline....but I like the comp here as presented! I do think David nailed the cast correction.....so tweak that and you've got yourself a winner!

Hi Bob, Agree with above comments and Dave's repost does improve the image. Agree on the not often viewed angle you shot this at but it works for me also. The water splash helps the foreground interest greatly!

Though including the full curve of the shoreline here is an option, I feel your purpose in the framing was to balance the FG rocks with the BG cliffs. As such, cutting the inside curve of the shore was a good choice.

Bob,
One thing that does concern me about this image is that the foreground, as noted by many including Tim's proclamation of "Great foreground interest" is that as your eye moves upwards, the frame becomes dimmer and the clouds are actually quite muddied and gray. I would suggest paying this part of the frame some attention with curves and lighten them up--the blue sky simply looks unnatural and the clouds indistinct, and distract from your killer FG.
