This flower doesn't look like it belongs in this galaxy does it? Nice title. I like the image sharpness and you handled the bg well!

Hey Adrian,
I do think the square presentation was almost a must here....so it does work for me! I do also like most of the BG.....except the brighter pinkish area above the bloom...around 12:30. I have debated lightening the shadow areas a bit......but then it will take away from the predator look.....but is is an option for you to explore. Nicely handled all around and very well seen!

Amazing flower, I'll have to have a closer look at our milkweed. I think the BG is a bit busy competing with your subject. But great control of DOF.

Milkweed flowers are fascinating subjects for macros. I like how you isolated one tiny blossom. I like the brightness and sharpness of the center of the flower, and wonder if there is a way to extend that to the rest of the flower. Nice job.
