Thank you Roman for your help had a play with your suggestions. Not much different 2 problems old eyes and still learning photoshop However getting better and all help appreciated

Grahame, I still see a fair amount of gray on the petals although it does appear to be better than the last image. I selected the white area and pulled up the mid- and upper tones with a levels adjustment just to see what would happen. It was a simple fix and pulled most of the gray right out of the whites.

Lovely colors and details on this flower Grahame. Jules' repost looks much better. There's still a lot of noise around the stem that may need some work.

I personally like the original post with some grays in the whites...to me they add some depth...like shadows...Just my opinion!
