This area is often overlooked in Arches NP. It has always attracted me over the years and since trees/dead trees are always interesting contrast in Arches......couldn't resist this one! Canon 1D Mark lll with the 17-40mm lens at 17mm for 1/10 sec. at f22 and ISO 640 tripod mounted w/ Graf Studioball head and bubble level in HS. @ split grad ND's stacked...HH in front of lens.
saved at 63 quality....doesn't look as good as old server!

Hey Roman....dead trees and clouds really set off the mountains...great work! If this were mine I would crop from the bottom. I don't know how much the rock at the bottom is really adding-IMHO

Hi Roman,

I really like this image, especially like the way the vertical lines in the clouds mimic the fins. I like the crop as is.

Roman, looks good to me! The sky certainly showed up to this party...lovely tones, soft light, and dig the compo as is with the rock leading to the tree leading to the fins leading to the sky. Eye candy!

Roman this is very nice. The vertical presentation is refreshing. The couds are super. I like the way my eye flows from the rocks on the bottom throughthe tree and onto therocks and sky.

Hi Roman, Interesting sky with even lighting throughout. Good tonality with strong detail. The rock in the foreground works where its not overly dominant yet ads interest. I'm debating whether the strength of the tree is diluted due to the backround merge...

The clouds' texture and contrasting color with the earth really make this pop for me, Roman.
