Dunlin at Sunrise at Grand Isle, Louisiana. I wasn't sure how to comp this one so I just put it in the middle of the frame.

Canon 40D; Canon 500/4 + 1.4 TC; 1/320; f/5.6; ISO 200; Gitzo GT3530LS w/Wimberley II.

Lovely Dunlin an beautiful light Danny.

To me, the subject is too far left in the frame and I wish it's HA were less but the HA isn't a huge detriment.

Looks as though it could use some CW rotation.

I really like the warmth of the image Danny and the nice smooth water BG. I don't mind the HA as the beak remained sharp to the end. I would prefer more room on left.

Hey Danny,
I'be been known to be fond of that crop tool:D.....so besides a slight rotation some off the back and top would work for me. Sweet light and while HA may not be "ideal"....it is sharp where it need it!
PS If you want a Roman crop.....right/bottom and top crop.....leaving more room up top yet keeping ratio!

Hi Danny, sweet light, and love the warm colours. If you are undecided on placement, always put the subject slightly to one side, but you knew that. :) Move him to the right, and you have this sorted.
