Joe:

Lovely framing of the chick by adults beak, adds to the sense of protection.
I like the environmental component, wish the small plant by tail and the small stick weren't there in a perfect world. I even like the little twigs in front of the birds.

Very sweet.

A real feel good shot, Joe. Looks like you got down real low for this one. I've been loving all of these chick shots. This little baby looks pretty happy.

Really like the interaction and the environment.

Only thing I'd do different is to close out the OOF darker thing in the high right center background and nthe little circle of grass on the far left atop the horizontal piece.

Love this one Joe. Like the HA of them both and like the environmental components you left in.

Hey Joe,
Really nice interaction with the arch of the grass providing an excellent framing element. This one works for me all around and not the easisest to get this in the right location!

Excellent composition here. The grass on the left, small twigs poking out of the sand on the right, along with great poses from Mom and chick really give the viewer's eye a lot of movement and balance.

I like the picture but would remove the dark area on the right, either clone it out or if you have CS5 spot healing with content-aware
