I made this at Green Cay around noon, high clouds helped. I was waiting for the birds to fly, which did not really happen. The juvenile Spoonbill was chewing on the perch and it looked as if he had fun.

Beautiful photo Axel..this has it all. There were 13 Spoonbills at Green Cay this week....the juveniles are getting bigger and still hanging out on the same dead tree....most of the time facing the other way and then flying away from you. They must be Eagle fans....

Great show of pastels Axel. You have managed to retain great detail and exposure in this lovely, soft setting. I wonder if you could get a bit more out of the bird's eye.

Lovely action with nice definition. The soft blue sky sets off the pink nicely. Lots of detail in the whites, glad you got them at GC, not always there.
