Made this image of river Doubs (Western Switzerland) a week back. I blew some moisture onto the top part of the circular-polarizer to create the misty look.

Techs:
Nikon D90 + Nikkor 18-105mm VR + CP
f/18, 4s, ISO200

Critiques welcome...

Hey Kaushik,
Ahh....the old fog up the polariser trick!!! Works very well sometimes as it did in this case! Cuves and flow look excellent as does the exposure. Only the brightest area of the far shore draws my eye a touch....but not enough to detract from this wel composed image. Nicely done!!!

This image has an ethereal feel to it and is very beautiful. I don't know how much you needed to mist up the polariser, a comparison without the extra effect would have been interesting.

Kaushik,

Cool idea on the misting the filter trick.

I might try bringing down the brightness of the left shore and trees some. It draws the eye a bot to much in my estimation.
