I've always been a sucker for reflection shots. Slight crop from both sides.

I'm a sucker for them too...this is nice, lovely rusty colours, pose and details. maybe tone down the highlights on the legs?

Gorgeous bird/pose...agree with Morkel on the leg highlights...if it were mine I'd be tempted to tone down some of the brighter reeds in the background, or eliminate them.

I think I would reduce the brightness slightly. I think darker "more dramatic" images work well with reflections.

That said, very well done.

Love the pose and beautiful reflections Mike. What a beautiful bird and I have not had the honor of seeing one as yet. Excellent detail and beautiful eye contact. Fine work !!!

Nice pose, and I like the log it is standing on. Good colour to the water - it goes well with the colours of this duck. This guy does look a little rough though, certainly not fresh plumage! For me this image would have been nicer as an horizontal with most of the reflection eliminated (keeping just the legs a nd a bit of the belly) as the debris spoils it for me.

Pose, sharpness and eye contact look good. I might remove the white spot underneath the bird.
