What a great image. The ears are all perked exactly correctly.

Andy - nice looking image. So were they all looking at a predator near your vehicle or at you?

Hi Andy, great zebra shot. I especially liked the tight grouping on the rhs.

Great question, Rachel. Somebody in our safari vehicle needed to take a 'bio break', and I grabbed a shot as he jumped out of the vehicle. :-)

Thanks for the explanation Andy. On my safaris it has typically been the men who look for a safe bush while the women wait to return to camp. Sorry to digress. :)

Hey, I don't need a bush! 'Checking the tires' is much more efficient. Gets me back in the vehicle faster so I can take more photos!

hehe my thoughts exactly Andy :)

when on safari in self-drive locations I tend to drive too far for too long for my wife so she takes an emergency ice-cream tub for in-car use :D (with LID of course! :))

lovely image, great light and symmetry in their alert poses...

Hi Andy,
Nice image. I like the colours of the background grass. Were you expecting them to run away? Botswana is in my to do list.

It is easier to find a bush in the forest. While visiting places like Ladakh in India (magnificent landscapes), I advise people to carry an umbrella. You will not find a blade of grass for miles together to hide. :D

Cheers,
Sabyasachi

I guess I need much less privacy than others, or maybe I have just done my bio break far too many times to even think about it. I always tell my safari customers 'ladies behind the Land Rover and men in front of the Land Rover'. Solves all privacy issues.
