This was taken on a cloudy day before a storm, mid August, 2009.

Welcome Tom,
Looks like he just came back from the groomers! Beautiful coats toward the end of summer. Great detail, love the pose and habitat. Personally a little tight top and bottom for me, would also prefer him a little further to the left (as viewed). Great shot regardless.

Hi Tom, and welcome.

Nice image to post, but would agree with Steve's observations above. In addition, I might use the white eyedropper in Levels and click on a white point on the fur as it brings out things a bit more, plus adding a bit more saturation, USM to the images will get it to where it needs to be IMHO.
