Love to shoot flight and got lucky one afternoon when this one was skimming and turned towards me and kept skimming all the way in. One of my favorites, just wish the feather condition was better, still a keeper.:D Cropped 20%.

The curve of the water as he was skimming in just puts this one over the top!

Yes, Mike the curve in the water makes this image very cool. You captured the mood very well here.

The curved trail of water is so cool !!!!! Sweet light on that bird Mike Love color of the water and feather detail with the eye clearly visible !!!!

The curved wake makes this one special. I'd like to see a bit more room on the right, if you have it in the original, to fit in the part of the curve that is cropped off.

Sweet shot Mike! I love the wing position and the skim lines in the water following him into shore. Very Cool!

Its the curve that makes this the bomb. Sorry, not too original, but I agree with all the others. Nice Mike!

Great bird, great action, great light. Excellent stuff.

I would add to Steve's comment about room to the right to say that I would like to see more of the image in any or all directions – for me it feels too tight a box for the action.

Sweet light, and love the curved water trail from where he has come from. Excellent exposure too. Very well captured.

Really excellent! Love the wake line left in the skim path.
