Get ready for our next project: Interaction. Of course, it doesn't have to be between adults and chicks, it could be any bird interaction. Older images will be accepted, but preferably if you got it for the project. Time to start working, guys!

Hey Fabs, the way the chick is positioned, and the angle, those tiny wings look like ears on the chick.:) Excellent exposure and detail on the parent, and nice and sharp too.

Love the bed of shells, and of course the main subjects! The image has a natural vignette effect which pulls me right into the action. Appreciate you thinking up these projects, they push us just to try just a little harder and your own contributions inspire.:) Thanks.

Lovely image Fabs. You can really see the interaction between the chick and mother.

Hi Fabs,

I like the motherly / tender moment you captured. I like depth of field with the out of focus foreground and blurred background. Mother and chick have great detail. The overall composition is just right in my opinion.

I wish I hadn't read Stuart's comments as all I can think of when I look at the chick is wow..that does look like ears!:)

Nice interaction shot Fabs. Did you selectively brighten the eye? something looks a bit strange to me as usually the eyes tend to blend into the head.

Very cute and I like the mood, angle and sharpness, too. I would be tempted to remove the bright part at the tip of the beak of the chick.
