Most of the time, people try to remove the pools at the bottom. I have versions without them...but I want to see how people feel by including them. Taken with the digital Rebel and the 28-135 lens for 30 seconds at f22 and ISO 100 with the Singh Ray strip ND filter positioned on the light beam. Not sure if HDR would work in this situation as the beams are easily 12 stops over the rest. Any thoughts?

Overall I like the image. To my eye I would like the beams to go away or be reduced a lot.

Beautiful colors on the rocks and I like the vertical light beams - until they hit the bottom and become pure white. My eye keeps getting sucked down to those 2 white spots. Not sure what is the best way to change this.

Composition and colors are great until the hot spotlights are hit on the ground.

I guess the pool shots are out! I might have a way to fix the problem and will try it next time out.

I must agree with the other here Roman. Another disturbing thing to me are the footprints next to the beams... maybe someone was beamed up?

I don't mind the beams but the pools at the bottom are distracting. Great colors and comp.
