Allen, I think this is one of the few times I've seen a butterfly image where the flower was as pretty and as in focus as the butterfly was. It's lovely to look at! The light green of the insect against the darker reds is really pretty. Only thing I see that I'm questioning is the dark leaf at the back of the plant. If you can cleanly clone that out I might try it...

Allen, I love the green shade here and the bright flower.
Lovely light and detail, and a nice BG.
I might suggest moving the butterfly and plant just a bit higher in the frame, and I agree about losing that dark leaf. It just doesn't add anything to this nice image.

Hi Allen, The image is sharp where it needs to be with soft,even lighting.I like the muted backround and might suggest you crop a small bit off the top. To my eye it would help balance the image a bit more. Well done!

Absolutely superb - congrats! The exposure and the colours are a knock out, it doesn't look too dissimilar to the Brimstone in UK.

I agree that some should be cropped from the top but other than that, this looks great!

I've seen very few of these so far this year but it's still early.

Hey Allen,
Late to the party.....so can't add much to the great advice above. Would have like to see a hair more of a turn towards us....but I am well aware of their constant movement!!! This was very well handled and composed!
