Original shot taken in a landscape mode, with the subject position about 2/5 to the left of a full frame. Cropped in portrait mode. There were juvi ibis on the left and far right side of the frame. The one on the left was not that visible and was dark, so I burned it to blend into the BG.
I was struggling with the crop, tried the close up, portrait crop but the way the wing position made it a bit tough.
Love to hear what you think, and repost are gladly welcome and appreciated!

Thank you Al. No I shot this with D700.
When I go out in the salt water, I hesitate to take my big camera. hahahaha.
I thought about leaving it more room and here is almost a full frame.

ibis on the left is a bit distracting.

I much prefer the crop in the repost, the OP feels very tight for me. If this were mine, I'd burn the light sand.
TFS.
