Happened upon scores of juvenile spoonbills today in Hillsbourgh Bay this morning while scouting locations for future work shops I will begin offering on both coasts in addition to snail kites, eagles inland.

Intentionally cropped tight as it was difficult to isolate individuals.

nice landing pose, dark BG adds to. spoonie is a bit washed out and there are halo artifacts as a result of oversharpeneing. Also some NR in the lower part of BG would help.

Arash pretty much nailed it. Artifacts are everwhere. I would like to see a bit more room on the top too, if the wings were outstretched, they would be cut off in the frame. Nice action shot and I like the water coming from the feet.

Thanks. I had initially uploaded the file, previewed it then resharpend it as it appeared too soft. I guess I went over board.

Will post one in the near future with better light and more room.
