Very nice habitat and subject. The light angle is not the optimal, leaving the black face a bit in the shade. Maybe you can extract more our of the blacks in post processing. It is also tight in the frame. Thanks so much for sharing it, Raul.

What a striking bird, lovely colours. Would loved to have seen the black face more in the light, as Fabs has said. I like the colour from the flowers.

Striking bird! I like the flowery surroundings. I will add that the HA (head angle) is not ideal either...had it been turned our way a bit more I'm sure some of that light would have reached the face nicely. That light angle has also caused the rear half of the siskin to look slightly overexposed compared to the front half...some selective burning / exposure adjustments should do the trick nicely during PP.

incorporating your recomendations, i see more detail in the black, but i loss shine...

Working with RAW is the best.
