I really like overcast conditions for avian photography, and its been over a month since we had any here. The good news is I can spend time on images taken earlier in the year.
This was taken under overcast light, close to full frame, and obviously something is going to be clipped! One of the down sides of low-contrast light is detail is diminished, since detail is defined by contrast. This can be partially offset, as far as I can tell, by being close to the subject. Comments and critique welcomed. regards~Bill
