Eyes on the Prize

This Reddish Egret has his on eye on breakfast at the Dunedin Causeway in Florida. I wish for a better eye contact but really like the poised action on this egret

Good concentrating pose, Scott. I agree with your self crit re the eye. I think nudging up the contrast and saturation would be worth trying and a bit of selective sharpening on the head would be good. Small crop from above and left and removing some of the surface bubbles may also be options.

Nice capture Scott. Agree with you about the eye, and would also wish for a bit more color. Good feather detail.

I don't mind the lack of eye contact, the bird is fishing and not minding you :)
