While trying to get images of a small spider, this Damselfly (no idea what type) landed beside me munching on a moth...

Very nice, Paul! Most everything looks really good. The moth looks a bit hot but maybe the damsel was in the mood for a hot meal. :D

I'm pretty sure that's a male Fragile Forktail.

I agree with Ken - if you can tone down the moth (what's left of him!) I think that would be nice but what a super nice image. It's certainly something you don't see every day!

I do find the BG to be a little distracting with the light/dark/different colors but I still like the image quite a bit. I also think you could strengthen the crop a bit if you took a slice off the right side - right around where the branch turns down.

I agree with the above comments and also agree this is one fine image. Love the perspective and that you caught this behavior.

Well seen and captured. Nice moment.
With short span to shoot the image, you still managed well to keep the head and the tail in same plane and sharp.

Hey Paul,
I think if you select the tail section and perhaps the eyes....lighten them and lessen the brightness on the rest.....this will take this image up another level!
