Awesome, very tangible drama here!
There are some strange looking clouds over the horizon, never seen anything like that!

The storm was trying to form a water spout= a mini cyclone. the winf was swirling but the storm just did not have enough energy to form one

very cool. if you have viveza II, I'd try to add some structure to bring out more detail in the clouds.

Nicely composed! Lots of dramatic details in those clouds that could be brought out more. I used curves, S/H, and Topaz Detail
(all selectively applied). I think there's room to brighten without losing the dark, foreboding feel that makes this image special.

Quite dramatic Myers. I like the composition and the leading line of the beach shoreline from FG to BG.

Hi Myers, I agree, well composed with the road acting as a leading line. Lots of drama in the sky with a foreboding feel to the image. David's repost brought out alot of detail and allowed the viewer to see the water. Myer, good job on the sky in your repost but I like seeing detail in the water...

Hi Myer,
Dramatic clouds indeed! I think both repost brought out the sky drama nicely, I feel yours has the most depth there. I do like how David brought out the water and fg. I do think if you go with your sky version I would tone down the 2 brightest areas slighly....to more evenly balance the sky. With some additional tweaking this one will really shine.
