Dear all

Taking some clues from Steve Kaluski here , CSE at 300mm  , this is FF shot
Bandhavgarh is one finest place to shoot raptors and central India birds

7D , 300/f4 , 1/60, HH, ISO 400, F5.6 FF
All C & C are most welcome and much appreciated

Hi Harshad, you have this one in the open, I only have head, rest in trees. :D

Good detail & colour, however those highlights are a little too distracting for me, but I know you hate cloning. Like it. ;)

Harshad:

Excellent look back pose, with nice detail in the feathers.
In a perfect world, wish there was a bit more room on the left.

I agree with Steve, that the few really bright leaves are distracting, I wouldn't remove, but would consider toning them down.

Cheers

Randy

This is great!!!

The raptor eye is competing for attention with the highlight, and for me, the eye is winning.

Harshadji, you do not clone, but you can try burning it... or selectively using selective color to turn it green like the rest?
Really awesome to fill the frame at 300, how close were you?

Harshadbhai, good HA, and I really like the feather detail. Maybe a little tight at the bottom.

I like the soft light and look-back pose. I would give it more room top, bottom and left and tone down the highlights in the BG.

Hi Harshad
Magnificent raptor with fine head turn.
The repost has really brought out out the detail of this eagle and its perch.
Beautiful image.

A first time seeing this raptor. Thanks for sharing. Just would like to have seen a tad more at the bottom, but it is a beautiful image.

Nice details and look back pose. Agree it's tight in frame but good for you not to clip it!:)Also agree w/ toning down some of the BG leaves. Nicely done Harshad!

Beautiful, thanks for sharing interesting and uncommon birds for Europe. I just would tone down a bit the greens and some highlights in the background. Giulio
