Electric is the first word that comes to mind. Very vibrant colors. Nice creamy BG and I personally like the way the stick divides the image with the subject sort of forming an S on the branch.

Welcome, Steve! Very nice first post. I like the colors, pose and details. It is just a bit tight in the frame for my taste. Keep them coming!

Welcome. Very nicely done and very sharp and vibrant. I wish for lots more room on the right and perhaps less on the left. Good job with the head turn. The face looks a bit oversharpened and the bird just a bit too SATed.

Wow, these birds pretty much glow. I'd love to see it at the max size allowed here (800 px).

What a beautiful bird. In this case the composition definitely needs some more room to the right for the bird to look into. I agree with Arties thoughts on saturation and sharpness.

welcome from Louisiana, south US.
Bird is quite vibrant and cramped, but a stunning capture very worthy of a slight reprocess as mentioned above

Have desaturated slightly and changed the crop to allow more space for the bird to look into. Any better?
