From last summer at Marco Island Found this image which was taken during a trip for skimmers Don't have many of these guys in flight

Hi Alfred,
I like the angle of this image with the bird banking and the slight head turn to give you a look. I also like how the bird seems to be following the white strip in the BG. I don't mind the strip except for the part where it borders the little white stripe on the bird's head. Maybe a slight darkening of that portion to better show the edge that I know is there?

I like the top view. I'm undecided on the white in the BG.

All in all, looks like a good image to me Alfred, nice capture, the bg is what it is:)

I like the bird a lot, but the busy background detracts from the image for me.

I like the background as it mimics the highlights in the plumage. A low-key or plain background would be a very different image.
