Hi,
Here's some local landscape, limestone paving with knarled old trees.

Hi Tim, Very nice image! Well placed foreground where the rocks lead you up to the tree. The offset tree placement is well handled framing the mountains on both sides of it. Finally, beautiful soft light with an interesting sky. Well thought out and executed!

Great shot here well done. Can you maybe add some contrast on the bottom half of the image. GREAT work

the elements all combine to make a rather unique landscape. I agree with Kobus on more contrast needed, and also feel the FG could be just a tad sharper :)

Hey Tim,
Don't forget to post some of the other specs like SS, F-stop, and ISO to help us better evaluuate the image and also help others learn from your approach!

As mentioned above ....the comp is very stong with all the lements placed nicely in the frame. I especially like the balance between the tree and the mountains as well as the cloud enveloping the tree. The Fg limestone looks fine on my monitor but toying with some added contrast/brightness removal is worth exploring and may yield a more desireable look. All in all....very well composed and executed!

Tim,

I agree with the above comments. Great scene composed well. I would have liked to see the FG rock sharper.
