Great orchids yesterday at Longwood Gardens which kept me busy. Many varieties that were not overly three dimensional(DOF issues) so I could grab a section and make a composition.
Nikon D300,200mm macro,F22,1/60,iso 400,0 comp,tripod mtd

Lovely comp, Dave. I'd be tempted to take a bit off the bottom because of the increase in shadow and loss of focus down there. Everything else looks stellar - very nice magentas/reds...I fight those every time!

I love the way the center colors just pop. Wouldn't be adverse to cropping the bottom but still works fine as presented.

I like the crop and wouldn't change it.

Looks like a flower immitating a butterfly. Very nice!
