Is that what you were teaching me yesterday??? Nice job Dave. Sharp throughout and love the detail in the flower...I also love the crop...another winner!

Beautiful composition Dave and those yellows are perfect! Are the whites how you remember them? They seem a tad on the gray side to me but then I wasn't there...

Beautiful shot Dave. I love the yellows, and the texture shown in the petals. I was at Longwood Tuesday also, and I believe I saw you working near some Venus Flytraps. You seemed pretty intense so we didn't bother you. Then again it could have been someone else. Whoever it was, I was lusting for their equipment. :D Great shot

Not sure Dave......it may have been me.....if it was Canon gear ( I have wires on the twin lights).....definitely me.
Agree on tweaking the whites a touch....perhaps removing some black in selective color.....but really nice comp and nice to see the inside tack!

Lovely shot Dave. Great composition and detail. I'm wondering if the shadow/highlight tool will lift the whites in the upper petals.:)

Nice image Dave, like the crop, the angle of the flower and the bit of yellow...make this a winner

Love the subject and comp but as others have pointed out, the whites seem off.

Hi Folks, thanks for the comments. I could easily brighten the whites but they are pretty true to the original plant.

Great comp, and you've kept the delicate feel of the flower.
Nice one
