This was a photo made some time ago. I was taking shelter from rain when a Brahminy Kite came and circle around the large pond I was at. Light was very low at that time and without checking my camera settings, decided to try my luck for a panning blur image.

Below is the result. I like it for the fact that everything is so blurred out that it has an impressionist feel. Post processing done include adjusting contrast/brightness, shadow/highlight and a little sharpening of the head portion.

Good pan blur effort, Phil. For me it would need the head sharper to really work well as the tail seems to be the sharpest part of the image so draws my eye.

Like the pan-blurred BKGR and everything but the wing position. It is funny that when you are creating pleasing blurs that the basics still need to be taken care of :): head angle, light angle, focus, wing position (as here), EXP, and the rest.
