I like the wing stretch, angle and BG. It looks as if the bird is ready to go to sleep. I only wish for a bit more eye contact and a slightly better light angle.

I like the pose and the various earth tones. Good comp too. I would clone/patch out the larger OOF pebble at bottom right. I'm wondering what the black line along the far side of the face's contour is?

Bob,
Very Nice Image...I agree with Axel -- eye contact really would help!
I would lighten the underwing a bit!!
Overall a nice image...!!

I like the earth tone look too and interesting pose with this stretch. Eye contact no a big deal for me here in this pose but I would have like to not seen the beak tip intersecting with the horizon line.

Agree on the comments above and I think it would benefit from a slight CW rotation. TFS.

I like the similar colors in the bird , foreground, and background. I'd like to see the eye, too

Hi Bob,

I like the feel to the image. Good comments above. As previous stated the pose and earth tones makes the image interesting for me. Visible eye and the beck intersecting the horizon line mentioned. Thanks for sharing.

The subdued light and earth tones give this image a classic look; I like the elegant pose.

For me, the bright background competes with the subject for attention, so I experimented with putting
more light on the subject and less on the background. Very nice image.
