I hope this image is suitable for this section... I feel like this is breaking a few rules, the biggest being the birds on the right part of the image with little space to look into. I decided to go with b&w and also increased the contrast to give a moodier feel. This image was created last spring at Honeymoon Island, I'm heading out there Sunday afternoon and I can't wait!

Nikon D50
Sigma 120-300mm f2.8 + 1.4x TC
Manual exposure, 1/4000, f14, ISO 800 (I know, could have used lower ISO)

Hi Josh!

Good thinking.

As I mentioned before, sometimes looking at out picture is OK, provided there's a reason.
You have something interesting going on in the back, and this illustrates a behavioral fact, Ospreys looking at the territory with their back to the nest. Works for me.

I would, though, take more off the right, to make sure I'm stressing the point of the composition. If you are going to brake ethe rule, don't do it shyly, go for it!!
