Captured at Butterfly World last Sunday, extremely hot day, record high in heat and we felt every bit of it.
This is a huge moth that sleeps a lot :)

Hey Fabs,
Very nice detail on one of my favorite moths! I like the pattern you chose and the lighting is excellent. It finally cooled off here in NJ....so I feel your pain!

I also feel your pain - hot and muggy - ugh! But this! What a wonderful abstract, Fabs! I think you chose exactly the right composition - nothing looks cut off and there's nothing here that doesn't add to the overall image. Everything is sharp and detailed - super image!
I wonder what this would look like run through Fractalius? ;)

Fabs, wonderful detail and colors in a great moth.
It's good to look at tiny macro details too - amazing beauty there.
