I really like how the light angle has created so much definition in the feathers. Incredibly sharp shot.
One suggestion is to reduce the blue sat a bit. The other is to leave a little more room all around.

Good-looking bird, the eye color is striking. Sharpness and look-back pose work well, too. If the sun would have been behind you, the bird would have been more evenly lit.

Thank you for taking the time to look and comment. Did you mean desat the blue channel on the bird? Axel I could only move further left in the hide, no more space to move right:( Would a flash have worked in this situation to evenly light the bird?

I like it better. With the OP, I thought the blue was a little overpowering. But lot of these things are personal taste. nothing right or wrong. Only you can tell what the accurate water color was :-)
