Quite the loverly swimming pose. I like that the animal is look up at you. Adding a bit of canvas below with the small missing bit of the reflection might be a good plan. SH, EXP, and basic image design are all spot on.

I like this a lot, the colour of the water enhaces the calf.

Hand-held at 1/250 with this lens is beyond my capabilities:)

It would be great if you could somehow complete the reflection.

Well done Mike, with your comp, as well as shooting the 500f4 handheld at 1/250s. The calf's ears, eyes and nose are all sharp, and I especially liked the little waves and swirls of water in front of the animal. Well done.
