I love the expression on the little guy! Nice eye contact and detail... However, eye is too centered in frame for me, I think an alternate crop would improve this image... also, some more sharpening would help...

I like the idea and setting and the gosling looks very cute. I would put the bird further to the right in the frame so that it looks into the frame and wish for a bit more head turn toward you.
