Bert:

Nice ventral view, feet well shown, sharp.
To my eye, the image is a bit dark. The repost shows the image with 1/2 more exposure, and the blue strip at bottom burned in a bit. To me, the lighter version shows the plumage off more and highlights the eye as well.

Bert, I like the pose and sharpness in this image. Randy's repost brought out more detail. I think a slight bump in contrast would make it stand out a bit more.

Interesting position the bird was in when you snapped it. With a light subject against the dark background, it's pretty easy
to mask, allowing you to selectively bring out details in the bird. Some nice ones in there to play with! :cool:
