I would like to have shown more of the flower but due to recent storms, my coneflowers are a jumbled up mess so there is too much clutter to be able to have a nice, clean BG.

BG is the white vinyl siding on my garage. I cloned oved some dark areas in the BG.

Rich colors, very nice pose and dof. I like the crop. Good looking!

Ken: I like how the colors of the butterfly match the colors of the flower. Nice details. I like the high key look. :) Very nice!

Ken, since you can't show more of the flower, I'd slice even more off and leave it with just the really red area of the flower showing. The butterfly is FANTASTIC! Might give him a CCW rotation to bring him even with the "horizon" but man...you really nailed this. The lower front wing loses a bit towards the back where it almost blends in with the high key of the BG - you might try to darken just that area a tiny bit to give it the visual punch that the rest of the wings have. Excellent DOF. You even got both antenna looking good!

I bow to the king of bugs... ;):D;)

Hey Ken,
Butterfly almost has a 3d feel to it! Just very well done all around including the BG!

Like the antannae both sharp. Like the idea of a bit of CCW rotation. Like the high key look here.
