From Fairchild Gardens in Miami lots of iguanas roam the grounds, just difficult finding one semi cooperative !!

I think this is an African Agama of some sort.
The BG seems a bit bright but I love what you did with the lizard. :)

The image was tough, very bright behind the lizard and shaded all around it ... and sort of backlit. Should have mentioned I had with me an EX 580 and was able to tame things !!!

Can you contrast its eye more to make that stand out more? or tone down the yellows in the bg?

This one really works for me, Al. I love that we get a sense of the environment around him. That said, I think you could also do a pano crop and get a whole other image out of it.

Hey Al,
I with the not lovin' the brightness of the BG crowd.....I think you can just tone it down some and the lizard won't lose any of it's appeal. Nice use of the contrasting colors too!
