Very nicely done, Adrian! Would have liked to have seen a bit more stem so the "joint" was included entirely but the boldness and the sharpness are fantastic! It really drew my eye in when I first opened the image.

Hey Adrian,
I too would prefer more stem base....not much but just a bit. The colors really pop against the BG.

Thank you Roman! The stem is very short and the flowers are tight each from another on the principal stem, so it was difficult to separate a single flower from the group...I even had to clone out some portions of the nearby flowers which were caught in the frame.To keep the central stem in the image would looked odd with the other flowers cloned out, so I have chosen this variant...

Wow! Great color! It pops against that dark bg. I like being able to see those little "hairs." I might crop it some, especially the top, so that the flower fills the frame more.
