Taken in the Timbavati on the morning game drive. As we watched the elephants, a ray of early morning light hit the trunk and I took this.

ISO 400
Handheld from a safari vehicle, no crop

C&C welcome & appreciated. Thanks,

Hi Rachel, Good idea! I like how the trunk weaves it's way through the image along with warm light. Good story telling aspect in the image also.

Something new, an elephant image without an eye, which work for me :D
The trunk itself create a shape which is like an art sculpture and you manage to capture a great texture on it too. The action of the trunk pulling the branches is telling a story as well, and the warm light goes well with the image. Very nicely done.

Really nicely done with the nice warm light.

Looks like a very prickly breakfast.

I agree Rachel. The warm lighting, trunk twisting, and finally the grab of the tangles make this one fine mighty image. Like it lots.:)
