I took advantage today of the light and the fact that I had both species of Goldeneye to choose from at my local bay.
Not the easiest of birds to get right--but this is coming the closest of what I have right now.
1DMKIII 300/2.8 IS + 2X TC
1/500s f/11.0 at 600.0mm iso1000 -1/3 ec

Beautiful work Bonnie !!! Love the fact that you were able to capture both in wonderful lighting and with a great head turn and expression. Well framed with excellent exposure. too. Many thanks for sharing this lovely capture Bonnie.

Stunning image Bonnie both ducks look very sharp nice seperation between the two and probably one of the best duck pair shot I've seen. Excellent Job!!!!!
