Beautiful landscape, Layton

just needed a a little punch,(usm) and slight crop on top, hope you do not mind...

Hi Layton, beautiful view of Oxbow Bend. I like Peter's rendition since the contrast boost gave the image more dimension. The crop is also effective.
Two areas that I feel would have helped the image is a clearer reflection and more even lighting on the foreground.

Hey Layton,
I like the different view of the time of year and composed nicely. I am OK w/o the mirror reflection but am curious as to why the ISO 800 choice.....was it hand held? I think you can bring up some subtle details in the FG before a contrast boost and this will help bring some needed detail in there. I think a crop isn't a bad idea....just maybe not as tight as Peter went on that top cloud. All in all nicely composed of this classic scene!

Thank you all, for your help. Yes Roman it was hand held.

Great composition Layton. THe Local Contrast Enhancement was the touch it needed. Have a good time.
