At least that is what i am calling this very young bird. It may also a Starling as they are both in the area nesting.
I thought I would post one with some oof fg elements. I did remove a couple of closer sticks.

Great colours but I find the in-focus twigs on the left distracting. I might be inclined to crop a little tighter and remove some of the in-focus twigs on the left. Nice image though and captures the scene nicely.

Hi Dave Cropping just the left of the green leafs (on left) would still give you plenty of room and dow away with distracting element mentioned by Jamie ! If that crop goes would have to do some tree pruning on the upper left !! Do like the overall feel !! .. point of focus is right on and like the exposure !!

A different prespective but not necessarily the right one.

I would simply remove the twigs in the upper left hand corner. If I remove some from the bottom and the right, it is because they look messy (especially those near the bottom left) rather than distracting.

Thanks for the comments guys and thanks Jamie for the repost.

I had looked at cleaning up oof messy things and different crops but kept losing the feel I was looking for.

I guess there is just too much stuff in the photo and some of it is, as Desmond has said, messy.

Back to the drawing board, or at least the woods.
