Action Still Smokin At Gatorland

found myself in the area yesterday so stopped in the morning at Gatorland and was blown away by the action. I've never found such intense bird action this late into May before. The red bellied woodpeckers were giving quite a show near the dead coconut palm by the boardwalk and the juvenile tricolored herons are simply irresistible with their colors. You can get so close you can photograph them with an iphone. thus 70-200 is a must there right now. Also near the boardwalk the juvi snowy's are growing and are flapping wings and again are really cute with their behaviors.
